To keep your white and gold parrot sculpture looking pristine and protect its finishes, follow these simple care guidelines:
🧼 Cleaning & Dusting
- Regular Dusting: Use a dry microfibre cloth or a soft-bristled brush (like a clean makeup brush or paint brush) to gently remove dust from the textured white body and detailed crevices.
- Deep Cleaning: If it becomes sticky or dirty, wipe it gently with a slightly damp cloth . Dry it immediately afterward with a soft towel.
- Avoid Chemicals: Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach, or harsh chemical sprays, as these can strip away the gold finish and discolor the white resin or ceramic material.
☀️ Placement & Environment
- Sun Protection: Keep the sculpture out of direct, harsh sunlight to prevent the white body from yellowing and the gold paint from fading over time.
- Moisture Control: Display it in a dry, indoor environment . Avoid placing it in high-humidity areas like bathrooms or directly next to open windows where rain might splash it.
🚫 Handling with Care
- Pick Up by the Base: Always lift the sculpture by its heavy gold base or the main metal stem. Avoid picking it up by the delicate parrot tails, wings, or crests, as these points are more fragile and prone to snapping.
