Quick Description
-
- Sheath: Comes with a matching heavy-duty nylon sheath with a snap-button closure for safe belt carry.
Care & Maintenance
To keep this knife in top condition for years, follow these simple steps:
-
- Cleaning: After use, wash the blade and handle with warm, soapy water. Dry it immediately and thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent any surface spotting.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a light coat of food-safe mineral oil or gun oil to the blade to protect the steel from moisture.
- Sheath Care: If the nylon sheath gets muddy, let it dry and then brush it off. Avoid storing a wet knife inside the sheath, as trapped moisture can lead to corrosion.
- Sharpening: Touch up the edge regularly with a ceramic rod or whetstone. The 420HC steel is relatively soft, making it very easy to bring back to a razor-sharp edge.
