Description
Fabric Christmas stockings / festive socks. The stocking on the left is vibrant holiday red , while the stocking on the right is a warm mustard yellow . Both features an all-over pattern of white and green winter mittens, geometric socks, and snowflakes. Each sock is finished with a crisp white cuff featuring a raised, red cursive “Merry Christmas” embroidery accented by a small green holly leaf detail.
Care Instructions
To keep these seasonal keepsake socks looking bright and clean for years to come, follow these care guidelines:
- Spot Cleaning: Address small spills immediately using a damp cloth and mild soap. Gently dab the area rather than rubbing to avoid pilling the fabric or fraying the embroidery.
- Washing: If a deeper clean is required, hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid harsh scrubbing on the raised embroidery. Do not machine wash unless the fabric label explicitly permits it.
- Drying: Reshape the socks while damp and lay them flat on a towel to air dry. Do not tumble dry, as this can shrink the fabric or warp the lining.
- Ironing: If they become wrinkled in storage, press them on a low heat setting from the reverse side, or use a pressing cloth over the embroidery to protect the raised lettering.
- Storage: Pack them flat in a dry, cool storage bin away from direct sunlight. To maintain their shape, you can lightly stuff them with acid-free tissue paper before packing them away.
